27 April - 10 mile Time Trial

Not quite as many riders as last week but still a healthy 29 riders on a warm calm evening giving excellent conditions which enabled 14 riders to record personal best times.
Biggest improvement of over 2 minutes going to Triathlete Robert Head from fast improving schoolboy Carl Jennings and Clive Baillie in 3rd. Quickest rider on the night was Jim Coleman recording a personal best of 21.11 and is now very close to the all time course record which is thought to be held by Rod Ellingworth (currently a top coach with the Team Sky professional team) in 21.10.
Some way back in 2nd was Dave Strickson ahead of Steve Hesketh with fastest schoolboy Peter Cocker in 4th overall.
The series continues next Tuesday start time 7.00 from the Cricket Club on Gorse Lane. All welcome
