17 August - 10 mile Time Trial - Final Week 12

Another good turnout for the final round of the club 10 mile handicap league with 26 riders starting including 3 first timers. Even this late in the season there were still 8 riders recording personal best times with Mick Egner leading the way with a 65 second improvement from Junior Toby Kiely just nudging Martin Hedley into 3rd place by a second.

In the season long competition Mick Ryan (right) maintained a steady improvement throughout the year for first place overall on 50 points from schoolboys Carl Jennings in second with 39 pts and Reece Egner equal third on 36 pts with the first lady Kim Paxton.

Fastest rider again on the night was guest Adam Gascoine in 22.16, over 2 minutes clear of Mick Ryan who was one of 5 club riders under the 25 minute mark. Handicap Points Table»
