13 April - 10 mile 2 up and Tandem Time Trial

Witham Wheelers had a record turn out of 38 riders for their traditional 2 up 10 mile time trial as the season opener on the Gorse Lane course.
Dry road condition but a cool breeze slowed riders on the return leg however Jim Coleman continued his current winning streak by combining with Chris Carter to win by almost 1.1/2 minutes from guest Blake Cowley from Newark and Junior Toby Kiely with Paul Connely and Jacb Storey 3 seconds further behind in 3rd.
The only mixed combination on the night Kim Paxton and Neil Sentance rode well for 6th overall Steve Hesketh and Mick Ryan won the battle of the Triathletes in 4th overall and best father and son combination went to Clive and Karl Baillie in 12th.
The 10 mile Time Trial handicap league starts next Tuesday evening from the Cricket Club first rider starts at 7.00 pm all welcome
