10 May - 10 mile Time Trial Week 4

The rain had cleared through but left a very cold evening for mid May causing times to slow quite noticebly with only 5 riders managing a small improvement this week.
Senior riders in their first season taking the handicap honours with Robert Head first from John Farmer. Schoolboy Reece Egner improved for the fourth week in a row for third to take an 8 point lead in the handicap series. Jim Coleman again took the overall win in 21.26 with Chris Carter second riding his first club event in a rapid 23.57 and Paul Conneely taking a close fight for 3rd place in 25.26 a personal best since returning to cycling a couple of years ago.
