6 July - 10 mile Time Trial Week 10

Warm but breezy conditions kept the speed down in the 10th round of the club 10 mile handicap league. With the schoolboys away competing in the GHS heat it was left to the senior riders to fight for the handicap point with Bill Harrison continuing his steady improvement taking 10 seconds off his previous best and Martin Harlock the only other rider to record an improvement of 6 seconds.
Reece Egner still leads the competition overall on 36 points just 3 points clear of Mick Ryan with Kim Paxton third on 31. Fastest on the night was Jim Coleman by 3½ minutes from Bill Harrison and Paul Conneely in third
