A damp miserable evening for the resumption of the 10 mile handicap series, did nothing to slow Jim Coleman who continued his recent run of rapid times with a clear win in 21.31 almost 5 minutes clear of Martin Hedley in second and Bill Harrison in 3rd.
Peter Cocker took first on handicap with a big improvment on the Gorse Lane course from Karen Crawford and Ashley Money. Young Reece Egner also recorded a commendable time in his first ride at the distance.
