27 January - 31 Mile Hilly

Another bright
and breezy day brought a second good turn out of the year of 32
solos and 1 tandem with riders of a wide range of abilities. The
31 mile Hilly circuit of Belvoir Castle tested all the riders
particularly the section into the wind on the Melton Mowbray road
through Croxton Kerrial. Once again though Jim Coleman proved
early season fitness with the quickest time.
Next ride is on Sunday 3rd Feb a 40 mile ride taking in a relatively
flat course out to Heckington and back via Folkingham. Start from
the Market Place first group starting at 9.30 prompt, all welcome,
entry fee £1, riders set of in groups according to ability.
