In the Youths event for 16 and under Sam Lowe (Go Sport Spex) proved by far the strongest rider on the day to win 
in 30 minutes 24secs, 1 and half minutes clear of Luke Panton (Velo Club Lincoln) in Second and Ben Green (Velo Club Lincoln) in third. Jordan Gell of Velo Club Lincoln in 4th was also first in the U14 category, Witham Wheelers very own Peter Barnes found the going pretty tough on a mountain bike and finished in 12th place.
In the event for Senior/ Juniors / Vets / Ladies a field of 51 riders took to the line and a group of 3 riders soon went clear with Dan Lewis (RAF) gradually breaking away to win in 56.33 a minute ahead of Scott Weekley (Velo Club Lincoln) and Andy Barnard (Time RT) another minute down. In 4th and 1st Junior was Tom Lowe (Go Sport Spex), 10th and first Veteran Steve Potter (Lindsey Roads), 11th Louise Day (Fat Birds) first Lady and 12th Vic Barnett (Welland Valley) first over 60.
Special thanks to the club members who gave up time on Saturday and Sunday to ensure the event ran smoothly.
