After an absence of a couple of weeks Jim Coleman returned to take a clear win from Tom Mendham in second place who also recorded a good improvement for 3rd handicap.
Despite the tough headwind on the return leg quite a few riders recorded improvements with 1st on handicap Peter Storey in only his second ride, although still a little way to go before he catches up with his son.
