For once the rain stayed away, but a strong northerly blew across the cirucit making it a hard night for all riders.

In the U16 Jacob Storey from Grantham riding his first event took advantage of his handicap to ride strongly and win on his own.

In the Senior event Jim Coleman dominated, breaking away early from the scratch group to catch and drop all the other groups on his own. From group 2 Michael Leech and Richard Ellingworth rode strongly on their own to be caught by the 3rd group with only 2 laps to go, with Gabby Day and Charlotte Colclough contesting a tight sprint for second.
