The second event in the 2007 series
saw a good turnout despite the steady rain that persisted all
evening.
Separate Coaching sessions for the U12 and U16 culminated in races
won by Liam Martin and Jade Ostler
respectively.
 Before
the Senior event Patrick Owen was presented with the Jim Jones
memorial trophy for the 2006 senior series by Janet East of the
promoting club in front of series runner up Jim Coleman and Dave
Ostler.
Jim Coleman again won the senior event in a sprint
from Tom Mendham and Will Hare
from Sleaford who stayed in contention after being caught by the
scratch group with 5 laps to go.
