Jimy Coleman held of the rest of the bunch with an attack at the beginning of the last lap on a warm but windy night with the scratch group having caught all the groups in front with around 5 laps to go.

Before the races started Ben Smith was presented with the Nev Crane Memorial Trophy as the winer of last years U16 races. Picture below is Ben being presented with the trophy by Nev's daughter Linda.
