Mar 26 velo 99 Australian Pursuit at Granby (1ST
OVERALL). Four riders and
myself in group six caught the other five groups of riders by half distance.
With two laps remaining I attacked with another rider and made the decisive break
and won the sprint comfortably on the long drag to the finish.
April 9 Velo 99 at Car Colston (finished at the back of the bunch). Group
six caught the tail end of the Peleton just as they started sprinting for
the finish. There was no way through, but the Handicapping was spot on.
May 7 LVRC Ray Lever Trophy Rotherham. (2ND
OVERALL) on a cold, wet day not
even the Hilly circuit could keep you warm, but the consolation of a good
result did help a little.
May 21 Velo 99 Car Colston (3RD OVERALL). There was only myself in group
six so set of with group five and did the majority of the work at the front
and caught the field with two laps to go. Completely muffed the sprint by
going from too far out and in too low a gear.
