For the first time in 2006 the wind had almost stopped blowing and
there was a little light rain in the air to cool everyone down.
Results were mixed some significant improvements others going back a
little, with Tom Mendham making the biggest improvement to take this
weeks handicap prize.
In the weekly battle for supremacy Stricko prevailed over Spen gaining
revenge for last weeks narrow defeat.
Good to see some close battles on the road, the wheel sitting (you know
who you are) should prove valuable practice for next weeks Lincs League
Handicap Road Race.
On the Pothole front, the council have slapped some
special soft tarmac in the biggest craters but this will be gone as
soon as a few big lorries have been down the course.
Next week the Club Championship 10 so lets see a good turnout, its only
10 miles.
