Ten club riders turned up for the second Lincs League all in their new kit!
The best looking team by far.
The tricky 4mile circuit with a sharp climb proved a tough one. Again Jim Coleman
finished in a superb 5th position against some top riders. Phil Etches finished
in the top 10, a good ride for the veteran. Young Michael Ostler beat his dad
Dave and finished in the top 15, good effort! Nigel Podam managed the top 20.
Tony Mendham finished just after the main bunch along with Jade Ostler the clubs
only girl rider. A commendable ride by young Jade who is constantly improving.
Phil Atherton and Rich Ellingworth both climbed off their bikes after a few laps
of the hill....too many pies here I'm afraid - bring on the flat circuits!
The next Lincs League should bring out even more club riders especially now the
clubs
number 1 rider Jim Coleman is in with a chance of winning the Lincs League, matching
that of Rod Ellingworth.... come on Jim!
