Four club riders traveled down to Leamington Spa to race on the fast ½ kilometer
circuit.
 In
the under 16's Tom Mendham finished in the main group in his first race
easily match
 ing
the pace of the British Talent team who were there in force. After a good
start for Mendham in race 2 he was bought down in a pile up close to the
finish. Tom was disappointed as he was going well.
In the 2 senior 4th cat races Phil Atherton, Rich Ellingworth and Tony
Mendham competed.
 Rich
Ellingworth managed two 3rd places, he felt like a win should have been
on the cards in race 1 but went too early! Tony Mendham
 finished in the top
10 in race 2 and Phil Atherton finished in the main bunch in both races.
Promising rides for Phil as this was his first circuit race in such a large
paleton.
