First Lincs league of the season with 6 club riders competing. The
conditions were cold, windy and wet as we expect for April! New club member
Jim Coleman finished 2nd in his first road race, a superb achievement.
Jim has had a strong winter training on the club runs and has serious potential.
Tom Mendham finished 5th, a good start to the young schoolboys year with
Nigel Podham a credible 6th position. Nigel will be looking for a few top
finishes this year. Tony Mendham and Rob Howbrook finished well in the
bunch.
In all it was a good showing for the first race of the year.
