Witham Wheelers' Rich Ellingworth rode in the 3/4 cat 28 lap race at Mallory
Park. With tempratures in the 30's the race was going to be hard. Ten
riders rode away early from the start but Rich missed the break and in
the
bunch sprint finish he managed 12th place and was reasonably pleased bearing
in mind the
conditions.
The race was won by a young Melton Rider who is on the National
development squad.
