Another good evening for the Wheelers 4th League 10
This can’t last — another good evening after some very mixed weather during the day and some very heavy looking showers not very far away! The wind was also very light and I’m still not sure which direction the breeze was coming from even after the event so it must have been pretty light. Once again we had an excellent turnout for the event and 22 riders signed on with everyone completing the course. Times were again fast with a cracking time of 24:58 for Pete Pain whilst Stricko continues his run of form with a 23:25 besting Lee Hodgson (23:44) by a few seconds. Our younger riders are still improving fast with Jade Ostler recording a 31:51, Micheal a 27:52 whilst Tom Mendham continues to put in fast rides with a 26:57. Glenn Meredith looks to be starting a new craze by completing the course on some sort of farm implement but with a 28:20 he must be doing something right! Some photos of the evening are below as is the full list of timings.
