Heavy rain clears just in time for a perfect evening
There was heavy rain during the day and no doubt many riders were put off by the conditions as only 7 signed on for the 3rd evening 10. Despite the earlier rain, conditions could not have been much better and as 7 O’clock approached the sun came out, and although the roads were still wet the wind had died completely. Times were again fast with Stricko doing an unbelievable 23:42! As I started as his minuteman I had hoped to keep him behind at least until half way but he came steaming past a good mile from the turn. Tom Mendham again posted a good time and leads the league 10 so far this year. This weeks times shown below.
