On an evening that turned out better than anticipated with the storm clouds drifting away leaving a calm but cool hour turning to cold. The old familiar faces turned up along with one new one. So everything was ready to start the new season on a slightly amended course on Gorse Lane. Moving the start a couple of hundred yards west of the old start on the bridge and moving the finish eastwards to the gate to the Headquarters at Grantham Cricket Club.
