About the Club
The Witham (with a soft ‘t’) Wheelers are based at Grantham, south-west Lincolnshire. The club was reformed in 1958 and has been very pro–active in that time in promoting cycling in all its formats. A brief summary of the club structure and activities as follows

Club Events
- Sunday morning club runs starting at 8.30 throughout the year except during the Reliabilities
- A 16 round Tuesday evening 10 mile time trial league with Handicap / Scratch/Veterans competitions
- Club 10 and 25 championship Time Trials
- 12 and 18 mile non-standard distance evening Time Trials
- 12 Reliability rides in Jan/Feb/Mar over set routes
Open Races Promoted
- CTT 10 and 25 Mile Time Trial
- Velo 99 Road Race
- Two British Cycling Road Races – GT Ellingworth and GA Bennett supported by Pedalpushers the Ultimate
- British Cycling round of the Lincolnshire Cyclo-Cross league
- Jack O’Connor Inter-Club 25 mile Time Trial on a tri-annual basis
- Work with other South Lincs clubs to promote Lincoln Circuit races
Clothing
- Extensive stock of club clothing now held by clothing secretary
Rider Support
- Club will pay entry fees of riders riding approved National level events
- Under 16 riders receive half price club jersey when they complete 6 club events
