The 50 went off OK with about 27 riders but only two riders in group 1. The weather was damp with roads awash with melt water and on the minor roads dirty compacted ice to catch the unwary rider. In group 4 Ant C came down on ice in the car park and the rest of us had many near misses on the ridges of ice. We also had two punctures Bunny first (no spares ) then Dave S had a slow deflation and a defective pump.
We all enjoyed the experience but looked more like Miners at the end of a shift than elite group 4 riders
